International Logistics Coordinator
Platinum Cargo Logistics/Frontera is seeking an experienced International Logistics Coordinator with US and Mexico import and export experience, who wants to join a motivated, productive team at our office in Cudahy, WI. Customer service skills and the ability to multi-task and get the job done right are essential to your success. You must be able to handle a variety of recurring tasks and special projects and provide superior customer service. Hours: This is a full time position with a minimum of 45 hours.
Salary: TBD based on level of experience in the industry

Location: This position is 100% in-person, and you MUST reside within driving distance of Cudahy, WI. Employee must be authorized to work in the US. Sponsorship will not be provided.
Responsibilities
Job Qualifications
- Plan, direct, or coordinate purchasing, warehousing, distribution, forecasting, customer service, or planning services.
- Consult with customers on logistical aspects of U.S. – Mexico import – export activities.
- Create logistical solutions for U.S. customers having operations integrated with Mexican maquiladoras.
- Provide solutions to customers with C-TPAT carrier audits and compliance issues.
- Gather and organize information on problems and procedures while developing logistic solutions or alternative methods of proceeding, developing, and implementing logistic management programs to ensure compliance with our programs and protect its interest.
- Conduct and improve the customers’ logistic organizational structure, evaluate, design, and improve systems and procedures, and conduct work simplification and measurement studies.
- Prepare logistics and analyze logistic procedure manuals, create freight quotes to operate more efficiently and effectively to assist logistics contacts management in the U.S. and Mexico.
- Ability to train and manage a team, along with experience creating SOP’s for processes.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- The minimum education required is a bachelor’s degree, but a master’s degree is preferred.
- Excel skills required: Advanced
- Must be able to type 65 + wpm
- Minimum experience: 2 years in logistics, forwarding, maquiladora/manufacturing, and management, but 5-10 years preferred.
- Travel to Mexico is required as needed
